PHRIMA workshop

The overall goal of PHRIMA is to design a Public Health Research Infrastructure for Sharing of health and Medical administrative data that will enable and facilitate the efficient and secure sharing of data. Medical administrative data repositories, e.g., administrative claims databases, contain information regarding diverse aspects of population health. We aim at conducting a conceptual design study to prepare the practical elements of setting up a Research Infrastructure that will support the effort of researchers in public health and medicine to access health and medical administrative data. PHRIMA should also respond to the needs of other groups including pharmaco-epidemiology, medical research, health economics, and health service research, as it will provide access to aggregated counts for agencies, patients and citizens. The goal of the Phrima workshop is therefore to bring together researchers in the fields of Research Infrastructures, research data management, Public Health and Epidemiology, hence establishing a forum for discussing challenges, new ideas, results, applications, and future directions.

The workshop will take place at the Auditorium Biopark, 11 rue Watt , 75013 Paris France, from 9:00 to 18:00.
